Chris was already sitting in the common room, reading some ridiculous quidditch magazine, when Brooke walked in. He nodded at her. "Brooklyn."

"Christopher." she said, face straight. It didn't stay that way. She burst into a fit of giggles as soon as she finished saying his name. He chuckled after her.

"Enjoying yourself?"
"Very much." She responded, still laughing. He grinned as she sat down and pulled a book out of her bag.

Keighton glided into the common room with her trunk in tow.

"Eliza hurry up with my trunk and don't drop it." She snapped at her friend.

"I am Katy but your trunk is effing heavy." Eliza yanked on the two trunks.

Keighton shot a nasty look at Eliza's response and then glowered at Brooklyn and Christopher.

"Filthy people around here." She muttered under her breath before stopping aruptly and continuing towards the couch nearest the fire.

Eliza glared at her and mumbled to herself "I wish I had beter friends around here."

Brooklyn looked up in time to see Keighton and hear her comment. She glared. "Excuse me, Katy?"

Keighton turned around.

"I do believe to you my name is Keighton and not Katy." she snapped.

"Keighton. Don't get into a fight your first day back." Eliza hissed.

"I do believe that we're certainly not the filthy people here." Brooklyn snapped back, ignoring Eliza and Chris completely.

Eliza stared wearily at her friends bickering.

"I do believe you are. And my point is all that matters isn't it." Keighton shot back.

"Oh please. Nothing about you matters." Brooklyn spat.

Keighton's temper was hitting the highest point.

"Everything MATTERS about me." She glared.

Eliza stared wide-eyed at her friend.

"Katy. Come. You're going to get expelled if you do anything rash." She pointed out.

Keighton continued to ignore her

Brooklyn half chuckled. She was angry now, and enjoying it. "You can think that all you want. But like it or not Keighton, the world doesn't revolve around you."

Keighton laughed at that "You think it doesn't. I know better."

Eliza bit her lip nervously "Katy." she murmured

"Really? I didn't realize your mind was capable of retaining knowledge...even if it is wrong." Brooklyn said, faking surprise.

Keighton glared at her.

"Wow. Little girl. You'd better watch yourself." She snarled.

Eliza fidgetted beside Keighton. She glanced at the girl's friend wondering why he didn't do anything.

Chris looked up from his reading. "Brooklyn." She glanced over at him. "Don't do anything stupid."

She grinned. "Too late for that. I don't like being called little. Even if I am. I mean, little is better than self absorbed."

Eliza's eyes narrowed.

"Stop it both of you. This is ridiculous."

She pulled Keighton's arm and tugged her away.

Brooklyn turned sharply. "Why don't you stay out of this, Eliza?"

Eliza frowned.

"How about I don't. I don't want my friend expelled before the term even starts even though I know you do."

"To be blunt, I couldn't care less about what you want."

Chris glared at her.

Eliza smirked "Okay. Then. I guess that what I want is my opinion then."

Keighton looked between the two.

"An opinion that, much like Keighton over here's, doesn't really matter all that much."

Christopher rolled his eyes and smiled apologetically at Keighton and Eliza. "Brooklyn. Calm down."

Eliza glared at her.

"Think what you want. We are leaving."

She pulled Keighton farther back.

"Wait." Keighton stopped.

"No."

"You are such a bitch to everyone aren't you Brooklyn? Everyone you know hates you." Keighton snapped.

Eliza groaned "Katy."

"I'm not the one who walked into the common room, ordered her friend to get her bag, and called everyone else in the room filthy." she said, but stepped back, hurt evident in her eyes.

Keighton saw she hit a harsh point.

"So maybe I do that. But you start fights and snap at someone who MAY like you." Keighton continued

"Whatever, Keighton. Sure. I'm filthy. But he's not." she said, pointing at Chris. "So maybe we're both bitches." She walked towards the dorms.

Keighton smiled. Knowing she got what she wanted.

"Katy you shouldn't do that. You're gonna piss everyone off." Eliza murmured
