TEH GREAT HALL

She kept walking, "Would you mind sitting with me?" she asked.

"Not at all." Chris replied brightly.

She smiled, LaLa was glad she had someone to talk to. "So what happened over your summer?" she asked sitting down.

He shrugged. "Nothing interesting. How about you?"

"For the most part eating sleeping and breathing" she laughed.

He laughed. "I'm glad to be back here, that's for sure. As much as I enjoy eating, sleeping, and breathing."

"Me too, this is pretty much my home.." she started eating, pretty heartily. She hoped he didnt think she was a pig or anything, but she hadn't eat since yesterday.

He filled a plate with food and started eating. "The food is so much better here than at my house." he said, shuddering at the memory.

"Hear,Hear!" she said raising he glass of pumpkin juice. 'I sooo know what you mean..." she smiled.

He laughed and raised his glass alongside hers.

She smiled as she finished up and then went back for cake. "It's so nice to talk to someone for a change.." she looked away not ready for his re-action then she took her cake sat down and looked at it, real friends were hard to find...

He smiled, Lalaine did seem shy. "You should do it more often. I'm sure people like talking to you."

She made a half-laugh, half-cough sound, "You wouldn't say that if you knew that yor pretty much the only person I've had a real conversation with in the last year or two.." she didn't want to look at what he would think but she forced herself to try to smile and look at him.

"Wow." he said. "You really need to talk more."

"Oh believe me I try, but either people find me too boring, too happy, or too annoying." she laughed at herself. "I'm sure on of those adjectives have crossed your mind in the last few minutes.

"Maybe." he shrugged. "But not in relation to you."

She brightened up, "Really?" she was suprised. "Thats good." She started getting up. "You wanna go back to the Common or do you have other plans??"

"No plans." he smiled. "Let's go."

TO THE ROOM!!!!!!!!!!

Blaire, Gabe and Brisa entered the great hall.

The opening decorations were still in place and Blaire smiled at the memory of the previous year.

Gabe followed Blaire to the table. "Brisa I'm sure your hungry. You can take whatever you want, you know right?" he said to the little girl. He smilled at Blaire and Brisa.

Brisa frowned and thought. Everything she wanted popped up in front of her.

"Woah." her eyes got wider.

Blaire smiled.

Gabe laughed at her reaction. "It's like she's never seen food before." he observed as her eyes popped.

Blaire laughed 'Yeah. I starve her at home."

Brisa picked up a tart. "Mmm."

"I'm sure you do, you're just that evil..." he chuckled as Brisa gobbked the tart
