Airport

Madeline arrived at the airport and kissed her car goodbye.

She entered the lobby place and went to the counter.

"Madeline Frazer? I would like a flight back to New York." She told the counter person.

"Ah yes. Passport?"

Madeline held it out.

"Okay. You can go to Section Five. A plane is leaving in about an hour."

"Thanks." She sped to the departure area her little bag in tow.

((why would you need a passport to travel inside the US lol))

- I dunno. I thought about that after. Then I was too lazy to change it -

- *bows* of course! -

Madeline was called and she hurried to the plane.

Tears were leaking out of her eyes as she lowered herself into a seat.

"Tissue?" The elderly lady asked beside her.

"Thanks." She sobbed into the tissue.

Kisa grimaced as they entered the airport. It was crowded...and even if by some strange miracle Madeline was still here, there was no way they could find her.

Carter followed Kisa.

"There is no hope Ki." He murmured looking around.

"Airline 219 for New York has left the landing." a voice came over the loud speaker.

Carter groaned "THat's her flight."

"Then we'll have to catch the next one." Kisa said. "But that doesn't mean there's no hope."

Carter went to the desk.
The airport worker looked up "Yes?"

"Two tickets to New York please. As soon as possible." he said.

"Not now. Unless you have reservations." she replied.

"Carter Frazer. I need the tickets." He smiled and she nodded,

"Sorry. Mr.Frazer. Right away."

Kisa laughed. "You really must fly a lot. Only about half the staff here knows me."

He nodded "The whole staff knows me. Madeline already has a job here as a stewardess."

"Here you go. Two tickets to New York. Your flight is leaving in two hours."

"My dad's a pilot. That's how he met my stepmom. Stewardess." She said, laughing bitterly. "But anyway. We have two hours to kill."

"We might as well just stay here." Carter replied and gestured to the benches across the from the opening to their gate

She sat down on one of the benches. They were uncomfortable, but she'd spent many hours on them as a kid. "So why did you guys leave in the first place?"

"My parents were getting sick of the party life. I was slacking in my classes and Madeline wasn't spending time with my parents. You seem like a city girl."

Kisa shrugged. "Not really. I pretty much lived here until my mom quit her job. My dad would take me places...I got used to airports. People moving fast. Hotel rooms. I guess I am a city girl, then. I mean, airports are generally in cities. So that's where I grew up. And I loved it."

Carter smiled "I loved it too. It was a great place to grow up. The airports were always fascinating."

She nodded. "Especially the big ones."

Carter laughed "Those I just got lost in. Madeline was better with the airports. How was your raising?"

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"Sorry. I meant what was it like in your family when you were little? How were you raised?"

She shrugged. "My mom was too busy organizing parties and buying new drapes to pay attention to me. So my dad took me with him when he flew. I'll be honest, I was pretty spoiled."

"Spoiled child." Carter teased then laughed "In a way I was too. Trips every where. Mansion for a house. Parties non-stop. Yeah."

She nodded. "But things are different now. A little, at least. My mom just...got sick of it. Decided she'd rather stay home, with me. So I stopped going, and my dad took up with a few stewardesses. My mom lives in France now, where she drinks heavily, and my dad is married to Meredith, who isn't that much older than you or I."

Carter grimced "That's not...good. My mom and dad wouldn't separate. Never. They love each other to much. I think."
