She smiled. "I don't really ever...do anything. Not sure I'm best for the job."

"We gotta go somewhere..." he chuckled..

She laughed. "True."

"We could just sit here and talk?" he suggested.

"Sure." she said. That was good. Simple. Easy. Hopefully. "Talk about what?"

"whatever you want." he smiled.

She smiled. "Okay. Well, I understand the move across the country, but why Forks? Most people don't even know it exists, and that's in this state."

"I just ran until I found something I liked."

"What made you like it here?" Sav asked.

"It just felt right, you know?" he said.

She nodded. "I love it here."

"Me too Itr's just so peaceful..."

They sat in silence for a moment, but not an awkward kind of silence. Savannah eventually broke it. "So were there vampires where you lived before?"

"Yeah...that's what made me turn into a werewolf the first time." he smiled.

"But not anyone else?"

"I'm half-Quilete that's why. My Dad was a wolf but he and my ma died in a car crash." he looked at the ground.

Her tone switched from inquisitive to apologetic. "I'm sorry."

"It happend several years ago, It's okay..." he said. He started tracing shapes in the grass.

She lay back in the grass, and put her hands behind her head. "I don't really have a dad, but I'd be devastated without my mom."

"TYhat's cool, your lucky." he smiled. he laid back with her. He propped himself on his elbow, looking at her. "Your cool."

She smiled. "Thanks, I guess. You too."

H laid back down and looked up at the clouds. "So what's your story?"

She sighed. "I've been here my whole life. Oldest of four. My dad left when I was eight, and my brother was two. Then my mom got married again, and he left four years ago. So I take care of my sisters, and my brother, while my mom works."
