Lunch Hall

"That, Matty, is what I was trying to get you to pay attention to."

Andrew sighed. "There's a mythical creature over there who looks like she's about to kill us."

"Mythical. You have got to be kidding me." Ryan raised her eyes

"Well, she's not exactly mythical, since she's obviously here, but then again you might say Matty and I are mythical too. By your standards."

Ryan frowned. "I don't get it."

"Things exist here that aren't natural Ry." Ash said.

"Things that suck your blood and things that shape shift." Alexa offered. "It's really quite disgusting."

Ash giggled "Yeah. The vamp's at least."

She blushed and cringed into Matty.

Matty laughed and wrapped his arms around her.

Ryan frowned. Then glanced up.

"Amy-Lynn!" She spotted her cousin.

"Ryan!" Amy hurried forward un-aware of the icy glare she was getting from Rosemarie.

Fragile humans. Damn it. Rosemarie swore

Al frowned. "Well this is a bit of a sticky situation." she said quietly.

Ryan frowned.

"Why?" She asked as her cousin sat down beside her.

"Oh sorry. This is my cousin. Amy-Lynn. She lives with me and my Nana." Ryan explained.

Rosemarie's eyes narrowed even more.

Matty glanced at her "Andrew look." He nudged him.

Andrew frowned. "Well isn't that just delightful. Matty, we're going to have to do something soon."

Matty snickered and Ash looked at him "Nothing wrong. Don't hurt yourself Matty." Ash's lower lip trembled.

"No. Nothing to hurt myself." He ran his finger over her cheek.

Ryan was watching the interaction and shot Alexa a questioning look. Amy was downright confused.

"What's going on?" She murmured.

Alexa sighed. "Well, we were trying to cryptically explain it to you, before your cousin got here."

Ryan frowned.

"Amy go away." she laughed.

Amy pouted "Uh. No."

"Then go to Nana's house. She doesn't care. I want to stay here with them" She pointed at the crew.

Andrew smiled. She wanted to stay with them.

Alexa, on the other hand, was frowning. "Well, no offense Amy, but there are several problems caused by you staying here."

Amy sighed "Okay. Nana says don't stay out too long. I have to find my classes anyways." She smiled at Ryan and waved as she left the lunch hall.

"Continue." Ryan immediatly said after Amy left.

Alexa grinned. "Ash here was just explaining that vampires like to suck blood."

Ash grinned "Yeah. And they don't like werewolves either. Well most."

Matty nodded and put his head on top of Ash's head.

Ryan frowned "Interesting. So why can I know and Amy can't?"

"Cause you're a-" Alexa stopped herself. "Amy can know that vampires suck blood and hate werewolves. She just can't know that they exist, and that there's one right there." she said, pointing to Rosemarie.

Rosemarie smiled and waved at Alexa (Damn. I always write Alicia instead of Alexa). She sat down at the nearest table and crossed her legs.

Matty shot her a revolted look.

"Filthy blood-suckers." He snarled under her breath.

"I'm a what?" Ryan asked taken back

"Imprint." Andrew said. "But that's a different story. Right now all you need to know is that there's a vampire over there who wants to kill us all and two werewolves over here who don't intend to let that happen."

Rosemarie pouted.

"I don't want to kill you. Although I'm sure she'd-" she gestured to Ashlynn "would be very upset if I did."

Ash cowered into Matty's arms.

"That's it. I'm leaving." He snapped as he pulled Ash out of the room.

Ryan frowned.

Alexa stood up and Andrew followed her. "I think it'd be best if we went somewhere else for lunch, Ryan. This place smells like leeches anyway."

Ryan looked downcasted.

Ash looked back "Can she come Matty?" she pleaded.

Matty frowned and looked at Andrew.

Andrew looked at Ryan. "Well what are you waiting for? Like it or not, you're a wolf girl now."

Alexa laughed.

Ryan smiled and followed them out the door.

Outside the school Matty was taking off his shirt and pants.

"Matty what are you doing?" Ash hissed and looked around.

"Contacting Jorden or Oliver. And Alicia." He replied and shifted.

Ryan stared in amazement. "Woah."

Andrew rolled his eyes. "What makes you think Alicia, Jorden, and Oliver like to eat lunch in wolf form?"
