Chemistry

Nicole walked in absent mindedly. She sat down and continued with her beats.

Madeline walked into the room and sat in the first open seat she could find and leaned against the back of the seat and sighed. She turned her phone on again and searched the web for good bargins on clothes and shoes.

Nicole watched Maddy come in. She continued beating on the desk and the floor. She watched her take out her phone again. God her bill must be outrageous. she thought.

Madeline glanced at the girl.

Nicole wasn't it. She shrugged the thought. Whatever. Not like it matters.

"Shit." She swore under her breath. "Damn. Damn. Frig."

The phone shut-off. Did it need charging.

"Ah. Shit."

Kisa walked into class, seeing Madeline's phone shut off. She snickered.

Nicole smiled back. Then she heard her muttering, her phone must have shut off. "You know those things have crap for battery life, don't you?" she asked Maddy. Nicole pulled out her new sidekick. "Here surf the web on mine." she said, giving her the phone.

Madeline smiled.

"Thanks. I was going to get on AE. But then my phone shut off. Must have been that 9 hour drive we had yesterday. Carter was supposed to turn my charger on. But didn't as usual."

"He's probably just messin' with you." she said still taping out the beats. "Hey Kisa" she said as she noticed she was there.

Kisa smiled and sat down, pulling out her own sidekick. It was fully charged.

"Probably." Madeline muttered as she returned to her account.

Nicole put away her pens as the class started filling up and the teacher walked in. Instead she pulled out a notebook and a pencil.

Madeline glanced up at the teacher then back at the phone.

"Here." She handed the phone back to Nicole. "Thanks."

Madeline pulled out a pen from her bag and her notebook. It was already covered in going away sayings that took about 20 pages up. She sighed at the happy memories. Until she flipped to the second last page of the book.

You know. I've always wanted to tell you this. But never got the chance. I ♥ U. Mad. Forever and always. So now I said it. Christian.

"What the hell?" Madeline ripped the page out and threw it to the garbage can.

"Wow you had a lot of friends didn't you?" Nicole asked as she took her phona back.

"Yeah. Right. Half of them hated me. They just wanted to come to my amazing party." Madeline replied and rolled her eyes.

"Better then having no one though...at least you had people to talk to." she said taking notes.

Kisa frowned as she pulled out a few sheets of paper and a pen. "Party friends and talking friends are very different things."

"Your talking to someone who knows nothing about friends though, Kisa." she said.

She frowned. That wasn't something she was used to. "Sorry. I'm just saying, they're different. Party friends are the people who come to your house but leave it trashed. Talking friends are the ones who drive you home after you pass out at a party friend's house."

"Ah. Okay." she nodded in understanding..

"So having people who like your parties and having people who you can talk to aren't the same. Although I suppose Maddy over here has a bit of both."

"Anyway," she said as she started mixing chemicals,"If you need the low down on people, I can tell you, I've been here for a while." she smiled at Kisa.

Will walked in to Chem, late as usual, and took a seat at an empty table so he wouldn't have to partner with anyone. He got looks from a few people which he just ignored, and started doing what was on the bored.

Marisol walked into Chemistry, she had missed first period. Oh well. She looked around the room, finally choosing a seat beside the only guy in the room, and got out her stuff, looking up at the board.

Crap he thought as he looked at the pretty girl who just decided to cop a squat next to him. She had to sit next to me, didn't she?? he though angrily. He looked away from her and looked back at what he was doing with the chemicals. If he wasn't careful he would blow something up.

She looked over at the boy, he looked very focused. She glanced at the board, and a look of panic came over her face. She reached over and stopped him from mixing two of the chemicals together, picking up another. "You want this."
