"Thanks" he whispered through clenched teeth. Be more careful, stupid he thought as he mixed the correct chemicals. He wished she would sit somewhere else. He focused on getting things right.

She stared at him, he seemed almost angry at her. "Have I done something to offend you?" She asked, half serious half making fun of people who said things like that.

He sighed, put the stuff he was messing with down and looked at her, "No," he said and then looked up. What did I do this time, God, what? I've been good, can't you stop? he thought.

"Just antisocial as a rule?" she retorted.

He clenched his fists on the table. She doesn't know. She doesn't know. he said to himself. No one knew his secret, and he'd like to keep it that way.

"I'll take that as as yes." She said.

He angrily whispered so only she could hear, "You don't know me." his flaming eyes looked at her. "Don't make assumtions." he looked back at the table. Back off. She didn't do anything to you. Back off! he scolded himmself. His shoulders slumped.

"I wouldn't call it an assumption. Antisocial is defined as unwilling or unable to associate in a normal or friendly way with other people. Don't even ask why I have that memorized. But the point is that you're clearly unwilling to associate in a friendly way with me."

"I'm not antisocial by choice." he whispered. "You know what? Screw this." he got up and left class when the teacher wasn't looking. He headed out to his car.

"And touchy too." She whispered to herself. But the worry was nagging, and she soon got up and followed him.

Madeline nodded.

"Yes. Jalina, Jordin and Brooklyn were the few that actually were friends. They had my back and I theirs." Madeline sprinkled the finishing touch to her assignment. "The others. Not so much."

Kisa smiled as she scribbled her name on the top of the assignment. "The others...well, mostly you're better off without them."

Madeline nodded "Hey. My parents are out for a couple of weeks. Party at my house? Carter will be there." Madeline signatured her name onto her own paper and put the potion thing in a flask.

Kisa grinned. "I'm in."

"Great. Dress party. Wear your best dress. Nicole?" Madeline questioned

"Okay." she said. Wow. Me at a party? how weird. she thought idley putting her name on the top of the page and handing it in.

Madeline flashed her dazzling smile "Great. Maybe- No not going to happen." Madeline frowned. "Okay. Kisa could you help me? Brooklyn usually does but since she's not here..."

"Help you with what exactly?" Kisa asked.

"Decorations. Dresses. Oh shopping." Madeline squealed "You'll have to come Nicole." She mused.

Kisa smiled excitedly. She loved planning parties. "Of course."

Madeline grinned "Okay. We have to go now." She dropped her assignment off and stopped at the door.

Kisa stood up, turning in her assignment and grabbing her stuff.

Nicole smiled, "Okay but im not the best at it." she grabbed her stuff.

"First we need to go to my house so I can charge my phone. And crap I have to find Carter. He's the best for shopping. And I need to get my new purse." She pursed her lips.

Kisa grinned. "Well what are you waiting for?" She pulled out her phone. "What's Carter's number?"
